Welcome to Ssmileathon, a pan-India contest organised by Stylldent Private Limited. By accessing or participating in Ssmileathon events, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Ssmileathon aims to promote and create awareness among college students and the general public across India and recognize the achievements of dental professionals.

This website is operated by Stylldent Private Limited. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Stylldent Private Limited.

Stylldent Private Limited offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or participating in the contest, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms"), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, participants, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current website shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

SECTION 1 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility

The Ssmileathon contest is open to all residents of India, including dentists, dental students, colleges, patients and the general public, aged 18 to 45 years.

Employees of Stylldent Private Limited, their families, and any person associated with the organisation of this contest are not eligible to participate.

Each participant may submit only one entry for the contest unless otherwise permitted by the organisers.

The Ssmileathon contest is open to all residents of India aged 18 to 45 years, including dentists, dental students, colleges, and the general public.

Participants must mandatorily provide valid age-proof issued by a government authority. The acceptable documents for verifying date of birth include: β€’ Birth Certificate, or β€’ Passport, or β€’ Any other government-issued age-proof document (Voter's ID/Driving Licence).

The organisers shall not accept Aadhaar Card as proof of identity, age, or address, in compliance with the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 and its use-limitation provisions.

Participants must submit all documents requested by Stylldent Private Limited for identity, age, and eligibility verification, at the time of registration or at any later stage of the contest.

The organisers reserve the absolute and unfettered right to verify the authenticity of all documents submitted and may request additional documentation if required.

If any participant is found to have submitted false, forged, tampered, misleading, incomplete, or otherwise unsatisfactory documents, or if the age proof does not match the details provided, the participant shall be immediately disqualified from the contest without notice, without providing any reason, and without refund of participation fees.

The decision of Stylldent Private Limited regarding the eligibility of any participant shall be final, binding, and not open to dispute or challenge.

Each participant is limited to one entry per category unless specifically permitted by the organisers in writing.

2. Contest Rules

The Ssmileathon contest will run from December 2025 to February 2026.

There are multiple categories for participation: β€’ Dental Professionals: Dentists can register and be an empanelled doctor with Ssmileathon and evaluate participants. β€’ Colleges: Organise Ssmileathon events at your institution and submit entries. β€’ Students: Dental and non-dental students can showcase their knowledge and awareness of oral hygiene and showcase their best smile. β€’ General Public: Participate by filling out the registration form and sharing your smile on social media.

3. Participation Guidelines

Participation requires taking a photo with your smile and filling up the entry form available in our website www.ssmileathon.com

Each participant is allowed only one entry per category.

Contest Participation Fees: INR 200/- Event Tickets for General Public and Rotary: INR 1,999/- Event Tickets for General Public - VIP: INR 4999/-

Original Content Requirement: Participants must submit high-resolution, original photographs of themselves, focusing on their smile, in accordance with the guidelines provided on the official website. Any violation will lead to disqualification.

All photos, and content submitted must be original, unaltered and not plagiarised. The use of photo editing tools, Photoshop, AI-enhancements, or any form of image manipulation is strictly prohibited.

Entries that do not comply with the submission requirements or contain any offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content are not acceptable and the organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that are deemed offensive, inappropriate, or do not adhere to the contest guidelines.

Dentists are encouraged to nominate participants whom they believe exhibit exemplary oral health or who have the potential to benefit from a smile makeover.

Stylldent Private Limited reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the contest in case of unforeseen circumstances.

4. Submission Deadlines

All entries must be submitted through the official contest platform by the specified date. Late entries will not be considered.

The contest organisers are not responsible for any technical malfunctions, website downtime, or any other issues that may affect the timely submission of entries.

5. Public Voting and Engagement

Participants are encouraged to actively campaign for votes by engaging on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

Participants should refrain from using bots or other automated systems to generate likes, shares, or followers. Any use of such methods will lead to disqualification.

6. Intellectual Property Rights and Use of Submissions

By entering the contest, participants grant the organisers the right to use, distribute, and publicly display the submitted image and content for promotional purposes on various platforms including social media, websites, and marketing materials in relation to the contest without further compensation.

The organisers reserve the right to use the participant's name, likeness, and submissions in any and all promotional materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, and advertising campaigns, without additional compensation.

Verification: Participants may be required to provide proof of identity and authenticity for their submissions if requested by the organisers.

Ownership of Event Media: All photographs, videos, audio recordings, interviews, stage footage, backstage recordings, or any other media captured during any phase of the Ssmileathon contest by Stylldent Private Limited, its authorised photographers, videographers, media partners, employees, or representatives ("Event Media") shall be the exclusive property of Stylldent Private Limited.

Assignment of Rights by Participants: By participating in the contest, every participant irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Stylldent Private Limited all rights, title, interest, copyright, and intellectual property rights in the Event Media and in all materials submitted by the participant. Participants expressly waive any right to royalty, approval, inspection, or compensation relating to the use of such materials.

Unrestricted Use by Organisers: Stylldent Private Limited shall have the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, broadcast, display, license, commercialise, or otherwise exploit the Event Media in any format (including print, digital, television, online platforms, social media, advertisements, and promotional material), without any further permission or compensation to participants.

Prohibition on Participant Recording: Participants are strictly prohibited from capturing, recording, filming, photographing, live-streaming, or distributing any audio, video, or visual content during: β€’ Rehearsals β€’ Auditions β€’ Backstage areas β€’ Jury interactions β€’ Workshops β€’ Finale event β€’ Any official Ssmileathon activity

Any unauthorised recording or sharing will result in immediate disqualification.

Misuse of Event Media: Participants shall not post, publish, circulate, modify, monetise, or distribute any event-related content, logos, scripts, presentations, photographs, or videography belonging to Stylldent without explicit written permission.

Consequences of Violation: Any violation of this clause will result in: β€’ Immediate and permanent disqualification β€’ Revocation of titles or awards β€’ Legal action, including claims for damages β€’ A permanent ban from all future events conducted by Stylldent

No Claims Permitted: Participants shall not initiate any claim, complaint, objection, or legal dispute regarding: β€’ The use, editing, modification, or distribution of their photos or videos β€’ Their appearance in promotional or commercial materials β€’ The storage or dissemination of Event Media

Consent: Participation in Ssmileathon constitutes full and irrevocable consent to the collection, use, editing, storage, and distribution of the participant's images, videos, voice, likeness, name, and performance for any purpose deemed appropriate by Stylldent Private Limited.

7. Judging and Final Decision

Finalists and winners will be determined through a combination of public voting and an evaluation by a panel of judges consisting of experts in the fields of dentistry and aesthetics.

The judging panel will assess participants based on criteria such as smile aesthetics, oral hygiene, and overall presentation, including creativity, authenticity, oral hygiene awareness, and clinical expertise (for professionals). The decisions of the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.

Participants agree that the results, once published by the organisers, are final, and no disputes or challenges will be entertained.

It is strictly forbidden to contact the members of the jury. They are totally independent from the organisation and the candidates. If a candidate contacts any of the members, the candidate may be penalised or even expelled from the pageant.

Transparency and professionalism are very important to us. We have to guarantee maximum transparency and that the scores cannot be modified. For this, each member of the jury will receive a copy of the scores. In this way, it is impossible to modify the scores because all copies have to match.

The organisation can penalise points if any candidate does not follow the guidelines of the event or breach any requirement.

8. Prizes and Awards

The contest's winning participant will receive the specified first prize. In addition, the dentist who evaluated the winning participant will also receive an award in recognition of their role.

Prizes: The grand finale of Ssmileathon will feature awards like Mr. Karnataka Smile, Miss Karnataka Smile, Miss Social Media Award and Runner-up awards along with corresponding awards for their respective dentists, celebrating oral health and community spirit.

All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

Any taxes or other levies applicable to the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

9. Disqualification

Respectful Conduct: All participants must maintain professional, respectful, and courteous behaviour at all times throughout the contest. This includes conduct during registration, event activities, online interactions, rehearsals, public voting, and the finale.

Zero Tolerance for Misbehaviour: Any form of misbehaviour, harassment, intimidation, disrespect, verbal abuse, discrimination, threatening behaviour, or inappropriate communication directed towards: β€’ Other contestants β€’ Judges or panel members β€’ Event staff, volunteers, coordinators β€’ Organisers, management, or representatives of Stylldent Private Limited β€’ Associates, sponsors, partners, photographers, or media teams

will result in immediate disqualification without notice, without refund, and without providing any reason.

Non-Interference with Jury: It is strictly prohibited to contact, influence, pressure, or attempt to communicate with any judge, jury member, evaluator, or scoring personnel. Any attemptβ€”direct or indirectβ€”to influence judging will lead to automatic and permanent disqualification, including revocation of any title already awarded.

Unethical Practices: Participants engaging in unethical or dishonest behaviourβ€”including but not limited to: β€’ Manipulating votes β€’ Using bots or automated tools β€’ Submitting falsified documents or misleading information β€’ Tampering with another contestant's submission β€’ Creating defamatory or malicious content

will be immediately disqualified.

Non-Tolerance of Online Misconduct: Any post, comment, message, or social-media activity by a participant that: β€’ Harasses, humiliates, or demeans another contestant β€’ Attacks jury members, organisers, or the Ssmileathon brand β€’ Promotes hate speech or discrimination β€’ Spreads false information or defamation

will lead to immediate disqualification.

Authority of the Organisers: Stylldent Private Limited reserves the absolute right to disqualify any participant at any stage of the contest if, in its sole judgment, the participant's behaviour is inappropriate, unprofessional, disruptive, harmful to the event, or contrary to the spirit of the contest.

Revocation of Titles: The organisers may also revoke or withdraw any title, crown, award, or recognition already conferred if misconduct is discovered later.

No Appeal: All decisions regarding misconduct, penalties, and disqualification shall be final, binding, and not open to challenge.

10. Limitation of Liability

The organisers are not responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation, or any technical failures related to the contest platform.

The organisers shall not be held liable for any damages, or losses incurred by participants during their participation in the contest.

The organisers assume no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected entries due to network or technical issues.

The organisers are not responsible for any loss or physical injury that occurs to an applicant on account of their participation in the event. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during any activities related to the contest.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

The personal data of participants will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will only be used for purposes related to the administration of the contest.

By participating, participants consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal data for the purposes of this contest.

Participants may opt out of future communications at any time by contacting the contest organisers.

12. Force Majeure

In the event that the contest is delayed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or governmental actions, the organisers shall not be held liable, and the contest may be rescheduled or terminated at the sole discretion of the organisers.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes, the decision of Stylldent Private Limited will be final and binding.

14. Changes to Terms

Stylldent Private Limited reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

SECTION 2 - ONLINE / WEBSITE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our content for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or correct. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. Programs and Activities are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Program (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, change, suspension or discontinuance of the Program.

SECTION 5 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms of Service.

If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service.

You agree that your comments/ submissions will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. In no case shall Stylldent Private Limited, our directors, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, contributors, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service, or for any other claim related in any way to the contest, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Stylldent Private Limited and our subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and contributors, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

SECTION 14 - TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

SECTION 15 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to The Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and jurisdiction of Bangalore, Karnataka.

By completing the registration and submitting payment, the dentist acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the above Terms & Conditions, without exception.
